Veela hair is occasionally used as core material, but it is difficult to handle. The magic it contains is sensitive to the caster's state of mind. It can be very effective in stable situations, but unreliable in uncertain ones. It is suitable for users who can well control their own reactions.

Working with Veela hair involves working under changing conditions, even if the environment remains constant.
